Thoughts on BI Framing and Sales

Be aware of the scope of Information Delivery which typically involves a lot more than just BI/DW. Some big consultancies combine Content Management, Enterprise Portal, BI, DW, as well as Enterprise Information Strategy and Architecture into Information Delivery offerings. I am fine with the term Information Delivery as long as we know what we are talking about.

I want to add the data governance and master data management aspect, or however you frame it. Yes, many companies have DW but very small number of companies have the process or even awareness in place when it comes to govern their business processes, data sourcing and management which ultimately determine what kind of data quality they have. We can frame solution from the perspective of both technology and process improvement, it is a big area to go after. (And may I add, this is probably one of the competencies we need to have in the practice.)
